My name is Philip Williams. I’ve always been interested in photography, and over time that interest has turned into a passion. I got my first real camera as a graduation present from my mom in June of 2018, and I became obsessed with improving my craft and creating more visually interesting images. With my friends graduating all around me, I learned how to shoot portraits with senior photos, and that’s where I found just how fulfilling photography can be.

I shot my first wedding that same year (my mom’s, actually) and had a great experience. Since then, I’ve been continually honing my skills and working my way to becoming a full-time photographer. In 2020 I got married myself, and even in my own wedding I had a small film camera with me to capture the moments that I wanted.

Most recently, I lived for a year in Madrid, Spain. I was mostly there to learn Spanish, given that my current full-time profession is a Spanish Teacher. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t taking photos everywhere I went though.

Now I’m back in the US, and I’m focused on growing my business of providing candid, authentic images to couples who just want to live out their big day, and have someone make it look incredible.
